2012 PHSSR Keeneland Conference

The PHSSR Keeneland Conference has become the premier meeting for public health practitioners, researchers and policymakers in the nation. The conference provides invaluable networking opportunities for public health professionals to exchange ideas about new data sources and research methodologies.

Exhibit Hall
The exhibit area will be located in the Thoroughbred Prefunction Space at the Lexington Convention Center.  Scientific sessions will take place in the Thoroughbred Meeting Rooms (TB) 1-8 on Level 3.

Exhibitors are responsible for coordinating the shipping, handling, installing and dismantling of their own materials.  In addition to the labels provided by your carrier, please attach a copy of the show-site label provided on boxes shipped to the exhibition company:

Parking
There are more than 10,000 parking spaces available within a 10-minute walk of the Lexington Center. All surrounding parking lots and garages offer spaces for guests with disabilities. Additional details and directions can be found on the convention center's website.

Free:
The Lexington Center parking lot on Manchester Street is open on non-arena event days and is free to attendees.

Hourly:
The Lexington Center parking lot on High Street is also open on non-arena event days for $7.00 all day. Or $1.00 for the first half-hour and $0.75 for each half hour after. 3 hours free parking with merchant validation in the Shops at Lexington Center. (No purchase necessary.) On arena event days fees vary.

Transportation
Airports:
Blue Grass Airport (LEX) is approximately 7 miles from the meeting site. Visit www.bluegrassairport.com for additional information on flights.

In addition to the Blue Grass Airport, attendees can choose to fly into the Louisville International Airport (SDF) or the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport (CVG).  NOTE: The Louisville and Cincinnati airports are approximately an hour and a half drive to the meeting site.

Car Rental:
The Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) Number for the Keeneland Conference is D088107. Please use this AWD number when calling Avis directly at 1-888-754-8878 to receive the best possible car rental rates available.

Taxi Service:
Taxis are available outside the terminal by the baggage claim exit. Below is a listing of taxi companies that provide service departing from the Blue Grass Airport. Meters typically begin at $2.50, with fares running approximately $2.50 per mile, valid for up to four individuals.(Pricing is subject to change. Please contact the individual taxi company for additional information.)
